Fishing

There are many lakes, rivers, and obviously ocean, and though there are not as many fish as there were in the "old" days, there is still plenty of fishing opportunity on South Vancouver Island.

You will need a fishing license to take part, and they are available at the Esquimalt Anglers Association, which is at Fleming Beach at the bottom of Lampson Street, or they are now available on-line through the Canadian Department of Fisheries.
